HOW DOES THE TRAINING WORK?
45 Training Hours
3 Weekend Intensives

Written Test
Written test to assess knowledge of anatomy, physiology, the Pilates Method and the exercises.​​

Practical Test
Observation of a class taught to a friend/ trainee to assess knowledge and teaching ability.​​​​​​

Upon successful completion of the required hours, and passing grades on the tests, trainees will be awarded a certificate of completion and can sit for the NPCP exam, if desired.
$1400: Pay-in Full, Early Bird Pricing.
$1650: Payment Plan or after Oct. 1.
A non-refundable $600 deposit will hold your spot.
Tuition includes training hours, manual, "Return to Life" book, 5 Mat Classes at the Studio and tests.

Nell Amos, MS, NCPT, Owner of Inner Balance
Nell has been an active player in the fitness industry for almost 25 years. After receiving her Master's Degree in Exercise Science from The George Washington University, she went on to study under the tutelage of Michelle Larsson and Kevin Bowen from Core Dynamics Pilates and is a PMA-certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor. Nell is also a certified Vinyasa Yoga, Barre instructor, and Holistic Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Nell has been teaching Pilates since 2003 and ran the Pilates Program at The Sports Club/LA in downtown Miami for many years before opening Inner Balance in 2011. In addition to teaching and running the studio, Nell writes fitness and wellness articles and has been published in many local magazines.

Claudia Rionda
Claudia's love of movement and dance started at an early age. She began her professional dance career at 12 years old in Brazil. During this time she studied a variety of Movement Techniques, such as the Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais and the Laban Method. At 27, she migrated to the States to open one of the biggest Show Rooms in town called Scala Miami. Needing a change, she then took the massage course at Educating Hands School of Massage, and in 2010 completed the prestigious Comprehensive Pilates Certification at Polestar Pilates in Miami under the tutelage of Dr. Brent Anderson. Claudia is also a certified Barre Instructor. Claudia has been working alongside Nell since Inner Balance opened in 2011.
